Should I get a 5.5 or 6.0 octave narrow key digital? At this time we are creating a digital narrow key piano, with a 5.5" octave. If you can barely reach an octave or can't reach a 10th on a traditional piano, the 5.5" octave will dramatically improve your piano experience.

What is a narrow key digital piano?A narrow key digital piano features keys that are narrower than those of traditional pianos. This design is intended to provide a more comfortable playing experience, particularly for those with smaller hands, children, or beginner players. A traditional piano has a 6.5" octave. The keys on the ATHENA are the same length as a traditional piano but the width is reduced to a 5.5" octave.
-
How does the sound quality compare to traditional digital pianos? The ATHENA narrow key piano utilizes advanced sound sampling technology to deliver high-quality audio that closely mimics the sound of an acoustic piano. Users can expect rich, expressive tones and a responsive playing experience.
-
Can I connect the piano to my computer or other devices?Absolutely! ATHENA comes with USB and MIDI connectivity options, allowing you to connect it to your computer, tablets, and other devices for recording, composing, or using music software.
-
Are the keys weighted?Yes, AHTENA features weighted keys with graded hammer action that simulate the feel of an acoustic piano. This provides a more authentic playing experience, helping users develop proper finger strength and technique.
-
Can I try it first in a store? When you try an instrument in a store you get to hear how it sounds in a large sometimes noisy store. When the keyboard is shipped to your home, you can try it out in the comfort of your home. You hear it with your acoustics, and you can try it with your speaker system (it has its own speakers but you may have your own). It can be easily returned if you aren't happy with it but we are pretty confident once you have tried narrow keys for a few days, you'll never look back.
-
Do narrow keys make it hard to go back to the regular sized keys? All the current owners of narrow key pianos agree transferring back to large keys is not a problem. In fact, your hands eventually relax so much on narrow keys that your playing on large keys improves!
-
Who can benefit from using a narrow key digital piano? The narrow key digital piano is ideal for individuals with smaller hands. This includes beginners, professionals, teachers and anyone who can't reach an octave or a 10th easily on a traditional piano. It allows for easier reach and better hand positioning while playing, making it more accessible for a wider range of users.
